What happened in Brampton in February 2026

Brampton recorded 309 sales in February 2026, 16.2% more than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 886 new listings to market, leaving 1,581 properties in inventory — 1.1% less than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 5.6 months of supply, which puts Brampton in a buyer's market. 29% of the month's new listings sold.

The average sale price across all property types was $887,457, down 8.7% year over year and up 0.5% on the month. Detached homes averaged $1,044,443 against $481,833 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.

What this means if you're buying in Brampton
