Brampton recorded 266 sales in January 2026, 25.1% fewer than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 932 new listings to market, leaving 1,544 properties in inventory — 10.8% more than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 5.6 months of supply, which puts Brampton in a buyer's market. 28% of the month's new listings sold.

The average sale price across all property types was $882,710, down 10.4% year over year and down 0.0% on the month. Detached homes averaged $1,021,192 against $487,272 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.

What this means if you're buying in Brampton
