What happened in Ajax in December 2025
Ajax recorded 59 sales in December 2025, 11.3% more than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 73 new listings to market, leaving 173 properties in inventory — 30.1% more than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 2.9 months of supply, which puts Ajax in a balanced market. 43% of the month's new listings sold.
The average sale price across all property types was $921,490, up 0.6% year over year and up 1.5% on the month. Detached homes averaged $995,845 against $450,000 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.
