What happened in Mississauga in April 2025

Mississauga recorded 490 sales in April 2025, 20.3% fewer than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 1,656 new listings to market, leaving 2,391 properties in inventory — 59.6% more than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 4.1 months of supply, which puts Mississauga in a buyer's market. 36% of the month's new listings sold.

The average sale price across all property types was $993,959, down 11.7% year over year and down 5.0% on the month. Detached homes averaged $1,440,838 against $549,790 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.

What this means if you're buying in Mississauga
