Brampton recorded 456 sales in May 2026, 0.4% more than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 1,431 new listings to market, leaving 2,133 properties in inventory — 15.6% less than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 5.3 months of supply, which puts Brampton in a buyer's market. 31% of the month's new listings sold.

The average sale price across all property types was $889,407, down 6.5% year over year and up 0.4% on the month. Detached homes averaged $1,023,135 against $436,413 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.

What this means if you're buying in Brampton
