What happened in Brampton in December 2024

Brampton recorded 268 sales in December 2024, 9.2% fewer than the same month a year earlier. Sellers brought 505 new listings to market, leaving 1,250 properties in inventory — 63.4% more than a year ago. At the month's pace of sales that is 3.3 months of supply, which puts Brampton in a balanced market. 38% of the month's new listings sold.

The average sale price across all property types was $948,170, down 3.9% year over year and down 6.7% on the month. Detached homes averaged $1,101,428 against $499,229 for condo apartments — the gap that decides which side of the $1.5 million insured-financing cap a purchase here falls on.

What this means if you're buying in Brampton
